Problems from the start

I recently graduated from university and started working as professional in Gauteng. On the 2nd of January I filled out a discovery application with my employee. A few days later my lymph nodes became inflamed. Being away from home and alone I was really worried so I decided to go to the doctor at my own cost.
Its been almost two months since and I have not yet been accepted as a member.
I got a call from a lady saying my form was incomplete and I told her about my visit to the doctor.
After a month or so I contact them asking the status of my application. Then they tell me to get a medical diagnosis from my doctor. The doctor gives me a letter and I email to it them. My application has been sent to the underwriting committee for an urgent review. What is that? I am currently on Momentum medical aid which my dad pays for. My company is not affiliated with momentum. Please let me know if my application is unsuccessful so I can continue with my current medical aid.
Was I so wrong to visit a doctor and is this the treatment I deserve?
