As a doctor contracted into medical aid, accounts submitted directly to MOMENTUM medical aid allegedly "above the medical aid rate" are REFUNDED TO THE PATIENT AFTER THE DOCTOR HAS DONE THE WORK, PERFORMED THE PROCEDURES, TELEPHONED THE PATIENT FOR FOLLOW UP, DEALT WITH THE PROBLEMS, QUERIES, COMPLAINTS ETC, AND THE PATIENT GETS PAID FOR THIS!!!
As a doctror serving the community for over 20 years, still charging medical aid rates, submitting claims to medical aids and THE PATIENT GETS PAID!!! How absolutely ridiculous. I will be cancelling my MOMENTUM MULTIPLYcontract and will expect all patients on MOMENTUM MEDICAL AID to pay cash up front for consultations. THE WORST MEDICAL AID I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN 20 YEARS OF DEALING WITH MEDICAL AIDS.
