I submitted my application form to Transmed on the 04 September 2013 and waited a week as they said their turn around time is five working days. I phoned on the 17 September 2013 and they had no record of my application. After a search of 20 minutes (me on hold) they found my application and I was told that I had to send it through again because they have not recieved it even though I had recieved an automatic reply saying this is a reciept that your email has been recieved. I was aiming to be on the Medical Aid at the end of this month, but no one has any information about my application or if i need to send any extra documentation. All I get told there is a 3 month waiting period??? Really??? Three month waiting period to join the medical aid. I think that your call centre staff are a bit confused. Maybe she meant 3 months waiting period if I was already a member. Who do I need to speak to here to find out whats happening with our application.
