I am currently on medical and wanting to join bonitas as bonitas is offering me cheaper and comprehensive medical cover.
i send through my application last week and have not yet recieved feedback, when i called the call centre, they advise me that i have been imposed with a 3 month general waiting period, what for? theres no break in cover, im leaving a medical aid where im covered to join a medical aid where i have to wait another 3 months to get cover, so what happens if i meet with an accident or a medical emergency???
further to that i email the underwriting dept, no feedback, i called and the consultant says its within turn around time and he wont be able to assist me or even escalate the matter further, well this is service from bonita.
i have worked for discovery health, and i know how to treat customers and i know about making exceptions and seeing to customers needs, its not like i have a disease and then looking for medical cover. i have been a top 10 performer and earned customer service awards and been rated 10/10 by customers for months in a row. service there stinks.
