I paid my medical aid claims myself since my MSA was depleted. Once I was through my self payment gap I made an appointment with the doctor as I had to cancel it earlier this year.
I sent in my account of R1160 and now my MSA still said depleted after they processed it and it still went off my self payment gap with the new balance on my self payment gap now suddenly from 0.00 to 10.95.

Seriously I pay almost R25 000 a year in medical aid including more than R6 000 in self payment gaps (so just over R30 000 a year) and you have to present your information in a false light on the internet. I could have waited with this appointment until January and then you would have had to pay it anyway. I only kept it because I was through my self payment gap. Good way to get out of paying claims.

Its not good business to to your clients and this is really not good service. You're supposed to be the best medical aid (your premiums surely says you are).

I can seriously understand why we WEF GCR rates our workforce health as 133rd out of the 148 economies they report on...
