Terrible Service

On the 5th o f August I emailed a GP to specialist referral form to see a neurosurgeon. I got an email back stating my visit to the specialist was denied but that was for my Gynaecologist visit that was already approved a week before. I have chronic neck pain and need to see the neurosurgeon. I have made an appointment to see him tomorrow. the medical aid state it will take 2 working days to process the forms, 3 days have passed haven't heard anything. this is an urgent matter and Discovery just don't care. I pay my monthly fee each month promptly! I have never missed a payment. I don't claim much from medical aid. why cant they approve my specialist visit... to them you just 1 more person on the schema. we are real people that got to see the specialist for medical reasons!! not to go and sit with the Dr. and drink tea. I phoned to hear what's going on. why they haven't approved my neurosurgeon visit, they said. ooops we got confused with your gynaecologist form and your neurosurgeon form. your Gynaecologist visit we approved on the 26th July but then on the 5th of Aug it gets denied again. suppose now I will get the gynea bill and the neuro bill. WHY DO I EVEN HAVE MEDICAL AID??
