Medical aid nightmare

Yesterday I received a letter via email stating that as of the 1st jan 2013 you must get a referral letter and authorization number before you can see a specialist. My problem is I am 6months pregnant and went to my Gynea on the 9/1/13 and was not aware of the new policy and now they want me to pay 30% of the gynea bill as I didn't have a authorization number. When I informed them I wasn't aware of the change in policy and was only informed about it on the 23/01/13 there response was well some times the post gets delayed! now i ask is this my fault the post was delayed which I still haven't received by the way as I was informed via email and not a letter in the post. and then to top it all off they have now bought in a new rule that you can only go to certain hospitals and well the one I've been going to isn't on that list where last year it wasn't a problem! so now I'm 6months pregnant and must now go and find a new gynea and the best for last is they changed there benefits that while pregnant you only get two specialist visit which mean I only have one visit left to find my self a new gynea meat him then be happy basically having a stranger deliver my baby! not a happy client all
