I'm a Diamond vitality member, so I know how the system works, and I make every effort to meet discovery's requirements for their benefits. I am on the old Vitality free gym membership system, have been for years.

I have 2 gym memberships- 1 at Planet Fitness with a trainer, and the other on vitality at Virgin (it's free and I prefer the gym so why not). I go to Virgin the required number of times every month to keep the memebership going, the rest of the time I got to Planet. Discovery sends me an email anytime I'm low on visits, I ensure I meet the required visits.

Last month I don't receive a letter, so I assume I'm fine on my visits for June. This month they cancel my memebership... not enough visits. No letter in June... so I speak to a manager who chucks the fine print at me, says they don't have to send the letter and they dont care about the Planet visits.

If the point of the rules is to ensure I'm keeping healthy... then don't chuck the rulebook at me when I can prove I'm meeting your requirement (planet plus virgin visits for the period). Don't dump your Diamond customers on a technicality!! managers should be able to look at the big picture
