We were on Prosano who were taken over by Bonitas in November. Their "promise" was as follows "The Pro Sano members are not considered as new members within Bonitas as their previous rights within Pro Sano, such as their savings balances, medical history etc are taken over by Bonitas automatically in a seamless process." However, I have been fighting with them since then to cover one of the medications which was paid for under Chronic by Prosano. The Council of Medical Schemes has "sided" with Bonitas and I feel that if paying R4216 per MONTH for Medical Aid doesn't justify ALL Chronic Meds being covered WHY should I be with Bonitas. To add insult to injury they also will not allow this medication to be paid for out of our Savings Portion - which after ALL is MY MONEY they are raking in interest on, but NO now they want us to provide proof of income etc. - what the HECK has that got to do with them. Furthermore, I've YET to see the Savings Portion which was due to me transferred to my Savings in Bonitas.
