Im so disappointed in the merge between prosano & bonitas medical aid! prosano's service was always great! friendly, informed staff answered your calls within a few rings and was always able to sort problems out!
when we were informed about the merge with bonitas we were told in several mail correspondence of the benefits the merge will bring to all the members.
but so far i have just had issues with bonitas! trying to get hold of them is a nightmare!!! i got cut of 5 times the other day before my call FINALLY were answered! then when i queried the change in my benefits i was told: "its bonitas rules now - not prosano"...
i signed up for the plan that best suited my family and now my plan has been moved FOR ME to a bonitas plan that is the closest??? what they fail to tell you though is that the plan you are moved over to is "closest" to your old one in costs - NOT BENEFITS!
i hate this medical aid and i feel ripped off!
i was happy with my medical aid and it was sufficient for my needs. now i am pregnant and am sitting with a plan that doesnt cover my needs! im totally now to try and find a new medical aid as i most likely wont be covered for the delive
