Poor and disgusting service

I needed to be undergo surgery on my foot. I was required to apply for Pre Authorization 48 hours prior to admission which I did. Went to the hospital on the day of surgery only to be told that authorization had not been granted. I then followed up with Fedhealth the call center agent told me that their underwriters are still reviewing my application they have no idea how long it was going to take? Confused as I was already in hospital waiting to be admitted? I asked to be given a number to contact the underwriters and was told they don't take calls from members? I left the hospital later I got a call from one their agents telling me they have sent some forms to my GP for some info and they are awaiting that then they will give feedback? Never heard from anyone else til now on the 20 June 2013 around 14:00 got an email from them telling me that my application has been declined for further details I need to contact their call center. Which I did then in my asking for reasons for the decline the agent told me according to their system its not declined but they are still awaiting the info from my GP then they will give me feedback and that the letter came from another division???
