On the 12 March 2013 my daughter was admitted to hospital with Encephalitis & was put in an Isolation room as she was contagious. Upon receiving all my med documents i saw they were charging me for a Private ward instead of a Isolation room (which upon speaking to diff Doctors and the paediatrician) are 2 diff things. Fedhealth declined that payment. I phoned fedhealh and explained, and i was told that to clear it up i need to send them a Motivational letter from the paed, which i phoned and asked her for, and was CHARGED for. I sent it through to fedhealth, and didn't hear anything from them. I phoned the Hospital for them to tell me Fedhealth had declined it!!! Could they NOT let me know?? and after i was told by them, they wanted the motivational letter to clear it up!!! after once again phoning fedhealth, i was told to send another letter through to "higher power" which i did, asking them to Please give me a VALID reason as to why they declined it again after i Paid for & sent them the Motivational letter THEY requested. All i got back was a pathetic email with the words " isolation ward has been declined"!!! no explanation.i pay u monthly, do i not deserve a phone call/explanation
