Momentum Health is pathetic. I WILL be moving medical aids. My son fell off his skateboard on 26th April and had to undergo emergency surgery on 27 April. This is a clearcut PMB case which they can't avoid as they desperately try to do with non-emergency PMB cases. I sent them a query on 17th May because my sons bills were coming back unpaid or portions were being paid - this is against the Medical schemes Act's ruling on PMB cases. I am on the verge of reporting them to CMS and will do so should I not receive a prompt response after this. After the 17th of May I only received an email on 22nd May giving me a ref number : 175724201. Since then no word from them regarding this query. From my experience with my previous Medical Aid as well the experience I've gained dealing with my parent's medical aid for them - I can honestly say Momentum is the absolute worst. I'm actually shocked and appalled at this company. Judging from all these complaints I'm not the only one. Momentum if you do not revert by paying these bills in full I am lodging a formal complaint against you with CMS.
