Went to see a doctor very ill on tuesday this week at Toti (around where I live). It turns out my medical aid Momentum Health is not covering my costs. What exactly am I paying for every month? Where is my R3000 monthly medical aid contribution going to? Paid R320 consultation fee out of my own pocket.
From doctor room, went to Clicks Pharmacy to collect antiboitic prescription and corenza C and it turns out my Momentum med aid is not paying for that too as 'Clicks' is not part of listed access pharmacies network on my med aid.
Again I had to pay R280 for drugs out of my own pockect.
Momentum medical aid is big rip off. I Will change this useless medical aid next month.
Even better I wish government moves swiftly and implement the NHI. We are currently been ripped off by the Medical aid schemes in SA.
