I must honestly say that I did not expect to ever have as bad an experience with a medical aid as I have had since day one with Momentum. And the thing is, 4 months down the line after changing from Momentum (the worst I have ever experience) to Bonitas (WOW) I am still getting bills and head ace on head ace. My baby was born at a hospital on the momentum provider list, which momentum specifically states you should be free from any bills after, and yet, I am still getting bills. firstly, 4 months after my baby was born the hospital called to say that momentum has not paid them yet, and decided to call me to settle the account. It took me to call momentum and query as to why the account was still outstanding, only for them to reply "O, it has now been authorized for payment" why does it take 4 months for this? now, another 2 months on, I get a bill for R1600 as "co" payment" for giving birth at a hospital on their provider list. What a joke.
