On Monday Apr 22, 2013, I ordered a tablet from First Tech Office online, for delivery to Cape Town, and after payment, Colin Jordaan confirmed, via email at 2:26 PM that day, that "this order has been processed for delivery... eta: about 3 days", ie. Thursday. Already this eta had me concerned, because their website boasts delivery within 24 hours (at worst 48 hrs if they don't carry stock).
I explained to Colin that this was intended as a gift, and I needed it as soon as possible, but definitely no later than Thursday. He assured me it would be here by Thursday (today).
Well its Thursday, and still not having received anything by 10am this morning, I asked Colin for a tracking number/courier details so I could follow up myself. The total response I received to this was: " Sorry, no we don't have ".
After going back and forth a few times by phone, I was just informed by Colin that delivery can only now happen tomorrow.
I shop online fairly often, yet this is the first time I ordered from this company- They have my money, and still I have nothing.
I am certainly not very impressed.
