On Tuesday I placed a high value order on the online shop belonging to First Technology, I was assured delivery by Friday. I phoned and asked for a tracking number to track the delivery of the order, they wouldn't give me one and said they would supply it later. I asked again on Wednesday, then again on Thursday and again today. I stil have no tracking number, no delivery and am down R15k out of my credit card. To make things worse, First tech is now closed until the beginning of January and will not re-open until such time as I have already left the country to return back to Nairobi.
On monday I will be instructing the bank to reverse the transfer due to non-delivery of goods, but considering the amount of money involved and the constant queries, the service is nothing short of disgusting and I am actually beginning to wonder if something dodgy isn't going on here since they refuse to supply shipping details.
