I went to Isore Clearwater to upgrade my MTN contract to a data contract with a Imac. The MTN consultant at Istore told me it is not a problem to upgrade to a data contract and only needs to check the stock availability of the Imac. After a couple of minutes the consultant told me there is no stock at the Clearwater store. I phoned Istore and they located a mac at Istore Fourways mall, they also confirmed I can upgrade my contract with them.
When I arrived at the Istore in fourways mall the consultant confirmed the imac is available and I can upgrade. It was not 10min when He came back and told me sorry, they have to first convert my existing contract to a data contract, which can take a couple of days before I can upgrade. I asked why I was not told this in the beginning and the consultant said that his friend at Clearwater branch was suppose to tell me. The store manager also refused to help and did not even offer a apology. There I waisted 2 hours of my day and drove out R100 petrol for nothing. I also called the head office in Sandton to complain about there staffs poor training and lack of information. I was told that a Mrs Linda Dean will call back. NO CALL Yet!!!
