TO AND OVERCHARGED FOR ONLY A QUOTATION

I TOOK MY TELEVISION TO EARLY TV SERVICES IN SECUNDA ON 11/10/2013 TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. THEY SAID THEY WILL LOOK AT IT AND LET ME KNOW (DID NOT TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT QUOTATION FEES AT ALL) LATER THEY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME IT WAS THE POWER SUPPLY THAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED FOR A COST OF R1850. I TOLD THEM I WILL COME BY FOR A WRITTEN QUOTATION TO SEE IF I CAN CLAIM THROUGH THE INSURANCE OR COMPARE COSTS WITH OTHER COMPANIES. I GOT A VERY POORLY WRITTEN DAMAGE REPORT FROM THEM STATING CAUSE OF DAMAGE POWER SUGER (SPELLED JUST LIKE THAT). THE FOLLOWING DAY I WENT TO PICK UP MY TV. THE PERSON TOLD ME MY TV WAS IN WITBANK FOR TESTS (AFTER THEY GAVE ME A QUOTATION) TOLD HER I NEED MY TV BACK ASAP. SHE THEN PHONED ME BACK 5 MINUTES LATER, TELLING ME MY TV IS THERE, NEEDED TO BE CLOSED UP AND I HAD TO PAY R350 FOR NOT ACCEPTING THE QUOTATION. I WENT BACK AND TOLD THE MANAGER I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS FEE, HE WAS RUDE AND TOLD ME SINCE I WANTED TO GO WITH THE INSURANCE I HAD TO PAY IT, IF I DID NOT, I WOULD NOT GET MY TV BACK AND THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT. THUS I WAS FORCED TO PAY R350 JUST TO GET MY TV BACK. I ALSO CALLED THE OWNER 3 TIMES, GOT NO RESPONSE.
