I got the Iphone5 in Jan 2013 and requested in the branch that the insurance is updated on the day it was collected - we were promised that it would be updated immediately (That after having mayor issues to get the upgrade sorted)
My phone fell very soon after that and I took it back to the branch - I was told that the damage screen would be covered by the insurance.
After a few weeks we were phoned and told that the damaged screen was not covered by the insurance as the insured item was still specified as a Nokia (???) and the repairs was? R5000.
I requested that a manager contact me to sort out the problem as my request for the insurance change was not done; and also that a detailed quotation was sent to me asap.
Last week I received an sms that my phone was back on its way to the branch but I also noted a "repair-fee" on my billing.
Today I get informed that I can collect my phone but it was not repaired because we rejected the quotation.
1) the upgrade in Jan was a mission - poor service
2) we were promised for the insurance to be upgraded on the account - not done
3) we never declined the quotation
4) we never received a quotation
5) 4 months to resolve a broken screen?
