I Pad part

I went to the I store to request a sim card tray for an Ipad mini that had been damaged. I was informed that they do not keep this as a part which I understand. They, however cannot even order me one and sent me to CATS digital who were helpful but could not help. Where in heavens name do we get parts in this country. They will NOT repair as I do not have I Care. This is ridiculous and I will NEVER buy another Apple product.
