IPhone 4S Charger Blew Up

In 2011 I purchased my first IOS Device, an iPad. I was so impressed with Apple that I decided I was going upgrade all my devices to Apple. I purchased a Mac Mini, then a iMac and most recently I purchased an iPhone 4S. As a young entrepreneur this has been a very costly exercise however this was balanced by the reward. That was until last week when my iPhone 4S literally blew up in my hand whilst on the charger. I shudder to think of what would of happened if my 3 yr old daughter was holding the phone instead of me.

The phone and charger are damaged and unusable. I took my phone to the iStore in Melrose Arch and was then told by one of the consultants that I caused this because I plugged my charger into a bad socket. Really Apple Really??? Is this how I can expect to be treated??? Like an???

I have recently started my own business and my iPhone was an integral part of the day to day running of the business. I am yet to hear from the iStore regarding my issue, their disregard and complete lack of interest is an abuse of my consumer rights. I need a resolution ASAP, I would like to request that this matter be addressed within the next 48 hours.
