PATHETIC SERVICE FROM VODACOM

The guys that' work in Vodacom Bluff Towers are ridiculous, my mom being 51 years old and not very technically minded was asked to come in for an upgrade and was taken for a ride just to get a sale. Having called me and asked for my advice, I told her to take an Apple Ipad 16gb, but what the salesman in turn does is give her an Apple Ipad Mini. I know some peole prefer the Ipad Mini but I am not 1 of those people. If I wanted an Pad Mini I would have taken it from Cell C rather than Vodacom and pay R199 opposed to paying R279. A few days later when we enquired if we could change the device we were first told that we could not because the box was open, which was infact done by them because they needed to check if everything was there. When we asked again they said no they cannot because once you choose a product you have to keep it. I was under the impression that with the new consumer laws that when a consumer was not happy with a product that it could be exchanged or returned no questions asked, I think Vodacom need to evaluate their exhanges and returns policies because now we are stuck with something we don't want and have to pay R279 a month for. 2 thumbs down for Vodacom!!!
