Poor Product Performance and aftersales service

I purchased a SAMSUNG fridge from Game in August 2012 (9 months ago). The fridge stopped working resulting in my groceries going off. The vendor responsible for their repairs was Liptronics who were commissioned to repair the fridge on the day I discovered the fault, they made an appointment for the repairs but never showed up. They failed to inform me that they were unable to hold the appointment thus resulting in me wasting a day out of the office. On the 5th day after informing Samsung, I had to demand that they attend to my complaint first and at the time no one had reschedule an appointment for the repairs. I have informed Samsung of the poor performance of the product which has resulted in loss of groceries. They have responded with a claim form which requests my personal insurance policy details which I am not happy to share as I refuse to have my insurance portfolio be impacted on due to their poor product performance, poor vendor performance and unprofessional practises of their vendor. MY concern is what happens when my warranty expires if the product failed within months of purchasing.
