I bought a Samsung Side buy side fridge freezer in 2006, paid well over 20K for the product. Early last year (2012) fridge was not even 6 years old, my ice dispenser stopped working. I contacted Hirschs to send a tech out to fix the problem, they told me they could not fix it and I would have to replace the entire door. This was unacceptable. Well since then I have been trying to repair the fridge. To the point that I decide to now replace the complete door in October last year. Then to be told that they do not manufacture this product anymore and that there are no parts available. The fridge is now beyond repair. How can a fridge that cost that much money be un repairable before the product is even 6 years old. Samsung has a big 10 year guarantee sign on their web page. This is a joke. It has taken me over 16 months of my time to chase Samsung to get answers. Shocking service, shocking product. Never again.
