I bought a Samsung FROST FREE fridge 3 years ago. A few months ago I started hearing a buzzing noise from the fridge and contacted the SAMSUNG call center South Africa. They referred me to Liptronics, their technical agent. I called Liptronics to set up an appointment for over a week and in that period of time my FROST FREE fridge shut down completely without Liptronics being able to come out to help me. I had to make my own arrangements out of desperation and got my insurance appliance agent to come and fix my fridge. When the technician opened the back panel, we saw a huge panel of ice stuck there. How can this be a FROST FREE fridge? All the insurance technical agent did was defrost the fridge. The only thing that could have happened is a manufacturing defect to this fridge? The ice in my SAMSUNG FROST FREE fridge is starting to grow again. I would be interested to hear other cases like this one. SAMSUNG refuses to take any responsibility for the defect and the fact that their technical agents where of no help.
