We purchased a Samsung fridge from Game in October 2012, two weeks ago, which is 7months after purchasing, we noticed that the fridge had stopped working, the fridge was warm inside. We contacted Game who logged a call with Samsung Head Office in order to send their repair team out. Llewellyn from Orca Electrical came out on Saturday (1st June), he said it was the thermostat that was faulty but he had repaired it and we should give it a few hours for the fridge to get cold again. We waited until Sunday evening, still no change. We arranged to have Orca come out again on Monday, Theo from Orca said it was now the gasket needing replacing and he would have to order the part which takes 3-4 working days to arrive. Jenny from Orca, not very helpful, said there is nothing they can do and we have to just wait for the parts to arrive, she also went on to explain that the fridge needs to be repaired 3 times before we can demand a replacement!! I contacted Samsung Head Office to file a complaint and was told to email Eben who is the manager. I have not had any response from anyone thus far. We have now been without a fridge for two weeks. This is extremely poor service from Samsung.
