FAILURE TO PERFORM DUTIES

I engaged PRAKASH DOOLABH of AMARU PROJECTS in 2003 to PROJECT MANAGE the building of a house in Westville. His duty was to engage all contractors and manage them. He engaged the architect, the builders, engineers, plumbers, electricians, etc. All amounts due to the contractors were paid to him and he did the disbursements. He was paid a very high fee to manage the project. His fees were paid on time and there was never an outstanding amount due to him or to any contractor. I was his duty to ensure that all certification was attended to and that the plans were passed. He has never provided any plans or certification to the owner, to date. Over the years, the municipality has been requesting the required certification from the relevant contractors. These letters from the Municipality were sent to him each time. Now in 2022 the plans have still not been passed. He now blatantly refuses to do what he was paid to do -that is to ensure that the plans were passed. He says that he will not attend to this.
