I order a cricket bat and helmet from Cricket direct in the UK who sent the order via DHL, who made me pay the customs duties on the total invoice and then only delivered the bat, saying the helmet was to be delivered via a different courier. I have requested DHL refund the customs duties for the helmet seeing as they never delivered the helmet.
The helmet has arrived via the postal service who now demand that I pay the customs duties on the helmet.
I have asked DHL to refund me the duties they made me overpay so that I can go and pay the Post Office these duties to release the helmet. The post office are not accepting the DHL documentation of proof of payment of the duties paid. Neither the supplier, nor DHL nor the Post Office are interested in helping. The supplier has been paid, DHL had been paid, and the Post Office are holding my helmet ransom! And it seems nobody is interested in maintaining their reputation to help a customer.
