IRugs is a international company. They have a South african website [URL Removed] with an South African address and telephone number. You pay in rands and all communication is as if it is a South African based shop. I ordered a rug from them. On the web site it clearly says you have am30 day return policy. On the website the only address given is the South African one in Cape Town. I am not happy with the rug and wanted to return it. Now I can only return it to the US, Zurich or Germany branch. Not to the South African addrress. No where any of this information was disclosed. I did not even know I am not buying from a shopmin SA. Do we not get protected by the Cunsumers Act? They want me to pay the return fees, that is more than half the price of the carpet. The ladies I spoke to, Jen and Jasmine, were very rude once I wanted to return the rug. Everything on that website is false and misleading. Please South Africans do not be misled like me. False information and policies are given and no disclosure. I could not get any information about the company, their address because according to the ladies it is their privacy policy. They mislead the consumer and do not stand to their promise
