Last week I purchased an Aircon from a Samsung store, the Store recommended a company called ACS, I found the details of the above mentioned company Absolute Comfort Systems (ACS) and got a quote for the installation. The installer has full Samsung branding and stated that they are Samsung air accredited dealers, however they are independent of Samsung.
Upon installation the aircon made a rather loud noise and the vent on the internal unit was rattling. I was told that the unit was defective. I contacted the Samsung store to advise them of the problem. I later received feedback that Samsung distributors will not replace the unit, bit will replace any defective parts. I was also told that ACS were not the recommended Samsung aircon installers; There is another company called ACS - Advanced Climate Solutions. Potentially the ACS company I used are not proper installers and there is a possibility that they damaged the unit when installing.
I used what I thought was the recommended installer ACS. A brand new unit installed that did not work when it was commissioned. I am awaiting further feedback from Samsung on the way forward. The installer has not been paid. Advice Pls?
