We bought the Samsung dishwasher from Makro on 12-01-2013. We only started to use the unit after a week, and found that it is very noisy. When the waste pump starts it sounds like it's going to pack up, and during the cycles it sounds like one of the sprayers is catching and creates an annoying sound. We reported the noisy unit to Samsung during the week of 6-02-2013 and they confirmed that the unit might be faulty and that Makro must exchange. Makro refused and said a technician must come out to investigate/repair. We made an appointment and Samsung change it to the following week and just didn't pitch up. After I phoned them again, they came out and stated that the unit is not faulty and the noise is normal. This is unacceptable as they advertise, and I quote the advert "... technology that dampens vibration, this dishwasher gets it done-without the noise". This unit is so noisy that we need to close the doors at night when we go to sleep. The unit is now only over a month old, and we request that we be refunded as this unit was sold to us under false advertisement. Can someone from Samsung please contact me so that we can resolve this issue, as Makro will not refund us.
