AFTER SALE SUPPORT - VERY UNHELPFUL STAFF

We went to HP in Cresta, to purchase the Compaq Laptop, sometime in Mar 2013.
We have been back on more than one occasion complaining about Windows 8, which is very NOT USER FRIENDLY.
We told them that windows 8 is corrupting and messing up certain programs trying to run on the laptop, but we were informed that this is what it is, and that's that?
I am having to always delete and re-install programs as they are not working (i.e Itunes. Java, Adope, etc), which I cannot believe is right.?
I tried to go to the "D Drive - Recovery" to run it - One cannot run it as it does not explain how to do it?
Please all I need is someone who can assist us to sort out this problem, perhaps another store with a more competent technician

As I work Monday to Friday early to late & Saturday mornings, I can only take it in on Saturday afternoon after work.
