I have purchased the HP 655 Laptop with Windows 8. This is the worst performing Laptop I have used, and is akin to a desktop I bought in 2003 with 264 mb ram. Not only is the performance poor, the laptop continually shuts down due to errors, at least once a week, even though the latest updates are being installed on the computer. I am so frustrated with this laptop because while I am doing my work, I get a message letting me know that the laptop is going to shut down due to an error. So then I have to wait for the laptop to shut down and then reboot, and given that this laptop is slow, it takes some time. I regret not doing my homework before making this purchase!
