Warranty for item not being honored

My 2TB Seagate HDD failed and when checked on the Seagate website it was still under warranty. Contacted Zaps and since they couldn't find the serial number on their system they refrained from assisting in the matter. The HDD in question was a previous replacement for another faulty unit thus I didn't possess the original invoice slip but the serial number should have been on their system regardless.

I eventually tracked down the suppliers and approached them directly. They found the serial number on their system which they supplied to Zaps and got my replacement unit the next day. Overall I am dissatisfied with the poor attention Zaps has provided to their customers and not even trying to assist in honoring the warranty for the products they sell.

I would't recommend Zaps to other people anymore even though in the past they have been very good with their customer service which has now plummeted to new lows.
