Problem :
Certain HDD monitoring systems are giving spin retry count errors.
Value - 106 Worst - 100 Threshold - 30
All other attributes register as normal.

- HDD Scan
- System Mechanic
This laptop was supplied by ACER as the unit I had sent in for repair was while in the possession of ACER or the COURIER company. I received this unit last year however I see on the system that the date of sale is registered as May 2011. I was told I was getting a new machine but I am assuming I received a refurbished unit...

The analysis has been completed and here is our feedback:
Your original machines warranty had expired on 5/24/2011. We honour the warranty of the original machine and therefore any repairs on this machine will be chargeable. Please relog call and select book in for repairs. Quote rejection fee is R380 excl vat.
