Poor service

I took out a laptop contract with Vodacom, somehow i lost my receipts and never wrote the serial number separately. the laptop was in February this year, since it was a contract laptop i thought Vodacom will be able to assist me with the serial number for police case, to no avail Vodacom couldn't assist me in anyway instead they told me to go to the shop where i bought the laptop and the shop closed down. i don't understand whats the purpose of taking a contract if the company cannot provide you with information that is suppose to be in their system.

i could not open a case of because Police requested a serial number as a verification to go and search for the laptop.

i was very disappointed very very very poor service.
