We rented a vehicle from 17 October 2011 till November 2011. Returned the vehicle with no damages. The checker checked the vehicle inside and out, and i saw him do it thru the window of the office. he gave the lady the check in sheet, she punched all details into the pc with no problems. i did not sign the check in sheet. 5 months later they start calling saying we damaged the vehicle and the are going to sue. i got hold of Mr Pillay who said that this case is withdrawn. now i received a legal notice and nobody from avis is responding. i refuse to pay for damages not caused by us.
