I had a bike accident yesterday and my Motorcycle's drive chain snapped and need help from the AA t have it towed. I was advised that they would send a trailer through as soon as possible. 2hrs 15 mins later, no one called to reassure/keep me updated as to far the despatched vehicle was. 15 mins after I had given up on the AA I get a call informing me that there would be a surchage of R800 payable and guess what: still no help despatched. I ended up getting assistance from my insurance company. the AA is unrealible. As of now I am cancelling my membership. cherry on the pie, you call the call center, the number 1 priority is for them to verify your membership details and assist you in getting to a safe place as soon as possible, I get asked to update my details, add additional vehicle and then later logging my problem to have a car despatched almost 3hrs later in addition to waiting in the line for 15 mins JUST TO SPEAK TO A CONSULTANT. SERIOUSLY...
