First National Battery
Bad Service

On 25th Feb'13 I went to Battery Centre in Pretoria Road, Silverton to replace a flat battery. I left the premises satisfied with their speedy services.
On 26th Feb'13 I phoned Dial direct for roadside assistance, only to be told that I do not register on their system after repeating my id number 3 times as well as my vehicle registration number.
I had to phone my husband for advice, who was out of town on business at the time. He had to make additional arrangements with his Insurers to come to my assistance at an additional cost.
The AA assisted me within half an hour and immediately made a diagnosis. The replaced battery was not fastened properly and the bracket wasn't secured at all!! After the AA representative secured the battery cables and bracket I went back to Battery Centre in Silverton to report the bad service.
The assistant apologized and informed me that the person responsible would be reprimanded. At the same time this individual insinuated that Renault's concept of securing the battery was not a very good product, and she charged me another R35.00 for a new bracket, which I paid.
I am very concerned about the poor service delivery me and my family have had these
