I filled my vehicle and wanted to pay for the fuel. The pump attendant and Anand tried to process the transaction and it got the DECLINED several times, because of an 'INPUT ERROR' (which I had to point out to the both of them), even trying differnt cards to complete the transaction. Then only he mentioned that the service was up and down since yesterday. I had to draw cash from the ATM (ABSA) using my Standard Bank card, to pay for the fuel. I normally fill up at this service station because of the price of diesel. Saving 12 cents a liter does not help when I need to pay a rediculous transaction fee for withdrawing money from an ATM that is from another financial institution which i'm not a client of. His only response after explaining this to him, was that he was SORRY for the inconvenience caused. If I did not have a card to withdraw money I would have been stuck.
