I had a hired car from Avis 22nd Jan - 21 Feb I had to pay a deposit of R750 before they released the car, I paid with my debit/maestro card, when I took the car back on the 21Feb they said it takes 7 days for my refund
after numerous phone calls and getting a statement from my bank to prove that the money has been withdrawn still no luck! its now 7 June I am still waiting for Avis to refund the R750
there is no hold on the money it has been withdrawn!!! and just cos its a debit/maestro card they are ignoring my pleas! as AVIS did not have a problem deducting it from my debit /maestro card, but its a huge problem refunding my money! AVIS leaves me no choice but to report this incident!!! just so annoying!!!
