I received a fine (my fault) and was sent an email months later by Hertz after chraging me for the admin. Imagine my horror when I went into my PAYCITY account to see that the case is already finalised even thought I have not yet received the official fine from the municipality.
I spoke to the municipality and they said that it took too long to have them notified and hence the case against me is finalised.
I sent an email on 11 November at 1:09 pm at Michelle and to Hertz Fines Admin asking for a response by 15 Novemeber (but no one has had the decency to respond to me) requesting copies of all correspondence between Hertz and the authorities to see who is at fault.. Obviously Hertz is at fault as no one has even acknowledged my mail.By ignoring the problem they are hoping it goes away.
Sorry Hertz, it does not.
Should there be action untoward to me by any authority due to the delay on your side, I will look for damages, starting with a refund of your service fee and ending on the front page of every national newspaper.
