A Few weeks ago a lady (who rented a car from Hertz-Cape Town) smashed into my wife's car. As per Hertz's request we needed to submit 3 quotes from panelbeaters. Now they have had an assessor out to look at the car and it was reported that Hertz will only pay R9000 of the R 20 000 damage caused by their client. They now comment that they have contacted the panel beater and he has agreed on the price.
I PHONED HIM THIS MORNING TO CHECK THEIR STORY AND HE (THE PANELBEATER) HAS NEVER HAD ANY CONTACT WITH HERTZ!!! EVER!!!
So now if this nonsense and continues the next step will be to take legal action.
THIS IS A BRILLIANT ADVERT OF INCOMPETANCE
