I met an accident on 9 May 2013. My 6 month old car rolled down a bank abut Santam saw it fit to repair this car. My car was taken to a HYUNDAI APPROVED panel beater (Nuwagon Autobody- Roodepoort) for repairs. Nuwagon did pathetic work and i had to take the car bcak 6 times till eventually it had to be replaced by the insurance. In the time that the car had to go to Hyundai for inspection after the repairs. Mr Riaan van Jaarsveld of Hyundai Rosentenville approved the repairs using a Hyundai check list. He ticked of all the repairs as perfect, however the car still had plastic bonding holding the petrol tank together and dents and various shades of red on it.
I wonder if any under handed agreements went on here or any money was exchanged for this approval because despite the certificate from Riaan, the car was then replaced by the insurance.
So yes HYUNDAI approved an incompetant panel beater to work on a 5 month old car and APPROVED a non road worthy car on their inspection list. Needless to say my next vehicle will not be a HYUNDAI with their fake claims and promises of excellence...
