My mom bought a brand new Hyundai I10 in Jan/Feb 2010. The vehicle has not yet done 60000 kms and my mom noticed Rust on the inside of rear right door above the glass of the window. She took the car to Hyundai
Ethekweni and Veejay sent it to their approved panel beaters. Nearly a month later Veejay came back to mom and said that Hyundai SA had rejected the claim as the vehicle was out of warranty! the vehicle is 3 years and a few months. My mom is devastated as Veejay said that the panel beaters quoted R 8000.00 for
repairs as they had also found some rust in the door. My mom does not have the finance to pay for the repairs and is devastated that Hyundai won't pay for the repairs on a brand new vehicle. What kind of after service is this! totally unexpected especially that my mom bought this vehicle for ou dag - old age and now sits with this rust problem only after 3 years. Totally shocked and disappointed.
