BMW South Africa
Re BMW Complaints

Re BMW X3 unpleasant experience. We are BMW owners for last 20 years but now had enough. The following need to be remembered: New X3 has got no jack or even wheel spanner. The Tyre
Pressure Monitor is simply unreliable. We made provision by obtaining jack, wheel spanner and emergency tyre (Marie Biscuit) On 27 May at approx. 13h00 we got stuck on dirt road
between Olifantshoek and Postmasburg. A switch to emergency tyre lasted only approx. 15 km. Then back to flat run flat (emergency compressor / fluid useless) at 20km/hour. Max-T at
at Postmasburg came to our rescue with emergency repairs on run flat. About 2 hours after we contacted BMW on call they managed to have us contacted by tow-in service from
Postmasburg. At Kimberley we had to dicover the specific tyre size nowhere in country available but from BMW.It was also discovered both rear tyres on the inner 1cm.was already
on canvas with the rest of tyre about 50% tread available. That brought us to the next problem - Mr Cooper Naidoo, BMW fact. rep. arrived next morning on regular visit and
arrogently declaire uneven wear is result of too low tyre pressure, which is absolutely because we specifically bought a gauge to ensure tyre
