I would like to complaint about a service that Legal Wise (Newcastle) offered me. After presenting my side of a story I was told by one of Legal Wise consultant that there is nothing that they can do to help. I bought a car on 24 March 2013, this year, from one of the car sellers in Newcastle. The name of that garage is Auto World. On purchase they made me sign a 1 month warranty on certain part of the vehicles breakdown, like engine, differantials only. When I ask the garage I was told that the Bank (ABSA - my finance house) will give me a two year warrantee. In just one week, the car started showing an engine warning light. I took it back to them. I was told that their machine / computer cannot detect if the light is no longer displayed on the ignition. I was then advised to drive it up until the light comes on again. It did it again and on my way to the garage the light went off again. I then decided to take it to VW for a second opinion. After VW had diagnosed the car, they told me the problem was a the turbo. I then went back to the seller where I was told that thier warranty only cover the aforementioned parts.
