Bought a Groupon voucher expecting alot more from Red Tie Cafe.
Their selling point on their blogspot is the great view. Yeah... You get to see is a dirty taxi rank when you peep over the wall.
Also there's a bunch of birds that hang out on the roof above your table outside. So you may just find a little extra sauce if you leave your plate unattended.
The waiter is completely lost, does not speak english very well, has no va va voom & has no idea on pricing of certain things. Plus she hangs out @ the entrance staring at the customers. Creepy.
To top it all off, I bought the voucher simply because they promote a decent looking steak, which is our kind of thing. Get there, order the chicken wings as a starter, smells like its been cooked last year, return both plates without eating any, nobody cares to ask us why we had returned it that way. Onto the main course & they "don't have any steaks". So you work directly above a supermarket but you cannot serve me a steak because...
Order a burger which was somewhat decent. Stare at the waiter some more because apparently she loves that game, pay my bill & leave.
On a side note, the Savanna I had was good. Big ups to Savanna
