On 2 occasions in the last 3month we have been to Bella Bellota Paarl for their advertised Sushi special. On the first occasion we waited 40min and asked waiter how long before we received food. Heinformed us 10min. 20minutes later still no food and then only to discover the staff who makes sushi were not there and the manager and a staff member were trying to make the sushi.over an hour sushi arrived thickly sliced and falling apart. The waiter came to apologise but no manager. Tonight we went again. After 45min my husband approached manager and she informed us it would be a bit of a wait. So we said no problem and waited. Another 45min later still no sushi.on which my husband went to cancel the order only to get snottiness from a manager (he is now however a paying customer and this is unacceptable) After cancelling order another manager came out, apologised and said what a hard night for them and asked to order something else. After 1h45min I dont think so! And to top it off after cancelling order we were still expected to pay for drinks. Our guest also informed us this is a regular occurence.would not recommend sunday special and if know there are staff problems cancel special.
